As solo travel becomes more popular, the profile of the quintessential traveler has expanded to include more women, more non-binary folk, the specially-abled and people from a range of economic and social backgrounds. If you’ve always wanted to take off by yourself but are afraid of the unknown and uncertain, you’re not alone. Some of the excitement of traveling is discovering new things and being outside your comfort zone, but too much of that too fast can make a new traveler anxious.
